Amy's House First Summer Ball A Great Success

The ball held on June 12th in The City Hall Ballroom was a resounding success. Almost 350 guests danced until the early hours to live band Fashion Fever after a superb dinner of Goats cheese tartlet, gin and tonic sorbet, wild scottish salmon and strawberry syllabub.

Surprise guest Paul Pashley wowed the audience and during dinner Britains Got Talent 2009 Live finalists Faces of Disco entertained the guests.

It was the night of Englands first world cup match and organiser Julie Pickering said she was a little anxious that guests would be more interested in the football!!  Her worries proved unfounded and the event was a wonderful one for all the guests - 'we've had amazing feedback - everyone had a great night and we raised lots of money for this very worthy cause. Thanks to all our guests for their support.'
